The Rebirth Of The Outer Church

Wednesday, 18 January 2012

In case you happen to be in the vicinity, Brighton's The Outer Church reboots on Friday January 20th with rising Glasgow label Broken20. TVO and Erstlaub will be performing live, both in solo and collaborative configurations, with Production Unit (and also TVO) manning the decks. Despite the legend on James Moore's gloriously rendered poster above, John Cohen will not be performing live. He will instead be represented by a screening of his film Tar River while London's Tengui (Colony/Broken20/PercTrax) steps up with a set of deepest, darkest drone for your edification. In their infinite kindness, Broken20 will be giving away a free 3" CD to the first few down and a special download code for all. OCB20 will be irradiating Sticky Mike's Frog Bar (nicely Lovecraftian resonances there) from 7.30pm until late and you can buy your tickets either on the door (subject to availability) or in advance from here.
