Between the age of 11 and 13 Punch was my favorite magazine. So that's slightly later than this lot, circa 74-75. I bought it every week pretty much. Also bought some of their spin-off books like the Alan Coren anthologies. To my regret, the Punch collection ended up in the loft, where they spilled out to form a kind of inadvertent insulation. Got mouldy and eventually chucked out. Shame as they would be a fascinating snapshot of reactionary attitudes in 70s UK. I seem to remember they always had a cartoon or two making fun of something newfangled - like the pocket calculator.
