Found this superb book at a Car Boot sale recently. Picked it up for the grand sum of 20p. There were many other books (Pelican & Penguin) but the seagulls had managed to empty out all over them, and this was the only book left unsoiled. Luck I say, it was meant to be.

ReplyDeleteThose kind of things were pretty rare for Pelicans for the most part -- is this one some kind of oversize special edition (I note the presumably hefty 10/6 cover price)?
Hi Ben, No its the same size as standard paperback book. As said there were others, but unfortunately they were covered in Sea Gull Poo.
