The only record I've got - and heard - is the Takemitsu / Woodward, which is great if you like prepared piano.
The one I most covet - just for the cover - is that first Harrison Birtwhistle. The Lutoslawski Bedford et al one is also pretty fanciable.
I was wondering if the 'Head' in Headline was some kind of hippy-era play for the younger market - like this is classical music that your headz can get their heads around. But it seems to be related to the design, which is nearly all big head shots of the composers. But perhaps the name came first and the design style came later.
Fantastic LP covers Simon. Have never seen these Decca Headline series before.
