Mini Mail Art Gallery
Dolls house loaned by Beth Barlow for student projects at Interactive Arts at MMU in Manchester. Firstly we are trying it out as mini mail art gallery, using stamps and tiny collages sent through the post ( from our archive ) to be exhibited hopefully at Special Collections MMU in the Autumn. Needs and bit of TLC and maybe a new roof paper from the model shop. The one in town didn't have any. The old guy who runs the shop said the kids finger it too much and it tears easily - he cant send it back so it goes to waste. He reckons the nearest place is either Warrington or Chester.

Love it! There's a pretty good model shop up the road from me, definitely used to do the dolls house papers (I got some brick patterned stuff from there for animation), I could go in and have a look if you like?
ReplyDeletenice! please do tell us more about this project. can someone sent artwork to the gallery? will it have a theme and a deadline? www.mailart.pt
