Bloody brilliant, filmu and soundu. I love that the need to convey weirdness, spaciness etc, or straight-up love of the freaky noise has over-ridden the usual film craft demands of precisely matching sound to action / mood (or maybe they just weren't that bothered, but the result is the same). This'll be "Trurl's Machine", from The Cyberiad. I've got an illustrated version, I'll have to bung 'em up.
