Sad day indeed. The Fall were one of the few groups I went out of my way to see back in the 80's. When I was living in Stepney in East London they played a gig at Queen Mary's College in the Mile End Road and I bravely went along on my own. I was the only punter dressed in a duffle coat with shoulder length hair! They were great as I knew they would be. I wrote to them afterwards to say how much I had enjoyed the concert and got a nice note back from Mark with a live tape of a gig in Texas at "Club Foot". I still have it somewhere.
